MODE OF ACTION
The naval oil contains terpenes of which d-limonene dominates. (The terpenes are surfactants used in degreasers and soaps to break down fats.) The ingredient d-limonene strips away a protective wax coating from the exoskeletons of insects and by penetrating the spiracles (breathing holes) will inflict cell damage to the cell membranes of the cuticle causing death.
Pyrethrum has a narcotic action on insects. Xterminator is formulated to allow the insect to recover from narcosis in order to allow the insect to emerge from cover when the d-limonene action will inflict death.
Xterminator is formulated to minimise damage to beneficial insects and by application intervals in extent of 7 days many will recuperate. Do not use more than 10 times a year on same location.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Use only as indicated
5 ml per litre of water, spray to the point of runoff. Insects must be wetted. Shake concentrate well. Add measured concentrate into spray container and fill up to required volume. Shake mixture well.
APPLICATION
Apply as a foliar spray on ornamentals, flowers, trees and garden crop- veg and herbs
Careful not to spray when bees are active.

WARNINGS
Handle with care. Use proper gloves and eye protection when mixing; work area must be ventilated well. During application wear proper mask. This product should be applied under supervision of an educated person. Keep away from children and uninformed persons.
Poisonous to bees. Spray when bees are not active. Harmful to fish. Not for use in hydroponic systems with fish tanks.
Toxic to soil arthropods. Prevent spillage.
