Pepper – Hot Apple

This pepper resembles the shape of a small apple, but don’t expect the same eating experience or flavour. They caution on the milder hot side and are not the kind of hot that will have smoke coming out of your ears. They belong to the C.Annuum species, but the exact origin is still unknown. It can be used safely as a stuffing pepper, and also to have an alternative to the usual suspects for this culinary use. Spiciness is low and tolerable by all, 5,000 Shu. The pods have large cavities and are ideal for stuffing with your choice of filling. Good producer and easy to grow. Plants grow up to 70cm high.
