Rare, hard to find and named after Dr. John Wyche, Dr. Wyche’s Yellow tomato is a climbing, indeterminate, American heirloom variety, producing large, heavy, slightly flattened, golden yellow fruit with a meaty interior, along tall plants with sparse foliage. It’s rich, sweet flavour and larger size, can grow easily to well over 2kg and sets this variety apart from other yellow heirlooms.

Dr. Wyche’s Yellow tomato vines grow 120-180cm long with sparse foliage and produce a heavy, reliable yield of large, yellow beefsteak fruit.  It requires staking, cages, or trellises to keep the weight of the fruit from damaging vines.
