Basil

Basil is used in many Italian dishes from Basil Pesto to an accompaniment for tomatoes and pastas.
Germination temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees with an ideal temperature of 25 degrees. Can be grown indoors or in a sheltered environment year-round if temperatures are kept above 15 degrees. Leaves can be picked off the plant which will continue to grow.

All seeds are tested and grown on our farm in Malawi and our growing area in South Africa. Please check conditions in your area for the type of seed to be grown. Growth rates and germination times are dependent on many factors such as soil conditions, rainfall/watering patterns, climate, and many more. Growth and harvest can be affected by these conditions.
