Copper Soap is a natural acid copper based fungicide and bactericide with up to 80% lower metallic Cu compared to other Copper formulations | Copper Soap is integral to an IPM approach as it allows for reduced Cu contamination with no residue limit or PHI. Can be used alongside Real Bacillus and real Trichoderma in an Integrated IPM approach | Organically certified for NOP farming standards.
The copper soap fungicide controls many common diseases using low concentrations of copper, down as low as 90 ppm. The net result is an excellent vegetable, fruit and ornamental fungicide. It decomposes to form soluble copper, and fatty acid, both of which can be used by microbes and plants.
- Lower rates of metallic copper with improved efficacy
- Improved biological efficacy because copper penetrates into plant tissue efficiently, leaving less on surfaces
- Environmentally friendly and suitable for an IPM approach
- Resistance management tool
Ensure thorough wetting of plant. Use higher rate under high infections. Apply every 7 – 10 days, depending on weather conditions favourable for the disease. Re-apply after rainfall.
Copper Soap has been found to be compatible with most commonly used fungicides, insecticides and fertilisers. Physical compatibility should first be checked by using the current proportions of products in a small jar test. Growers should then test tank-mix combinations for phytotoxicity on a sample of crops prior to use.
Store in a cool, dry place in the original sealed container. Do not store below 4 °C
