Cultiwool 1m X-Fibre Slab (1000x150x75mm)

Cultiwool X-Fibre is a stone wool (rockwool) growing slab with a predominantly horizontal fibre structure. It is made for final stage planting and long-term crops in hydroponic systems, where plants stay in the same slab for the whole growing cycle.

Stone wool is clean, sterile and inert. It does not lock up or release nutrients, so the water and feed you supply stay available to the roots, and you keep full control of EC and pH in the root zone.

Preparing the slab: new rockwool must be saturated before planting. Soak the slab in a light nutrient solution adjusted to pH 5.2 to 6.0 until fully wet, then drain and cut drainage slits at the bottom corners.
