Tomatoes – Stump of the World

Dark pink beefsteak fruit reach about one pound and grow on potato-leaved vines. The variety was part of the Ben Quisinberry Collection, which also contributed the variety Brandywine. Stump of the World is a bit smaller and more productive than Brandywine, but like Brandywine, offers outstandingly rich, complex flavor. Heirloom variety. Indeterminate. 80 days.

Stump of the World produces round to oblate beefsteak tomatoes around 150-350grams each. Bright-red-pink fruits with a pleasant, juicy, sweet tomato flavor, resembling ‘Brandywine’. This is an indeterminate, vining variety of tomato growing to about 200cm in height and spreads some width-wise depending on how much of the suckers are pruned and the choice of staking and support.
