Liberal amounts of Peat Moss should be used when planting roses, shrubs and trees, and when preparing ground to grow flowers, vegetables and other plants. This is a fine grade Peat Moss product which contains no added chemicals, it is totally biodegradable, at traditional product of supreme quality. With an acidic pH, it’s ideal for acid loving plants such as blueberries and camellias. Peat moss is used mainly as a soil amendment or ingredient in potting soil.

Peat moss doesn’t contain harmful microorganisms or weed seeds that you may find in poorly processed compost. It must be mixed with other ingredients to make up between one-third to two-thirds of the total volume of the mix.
